It's got a universe to learn and function to burn
It crawls up from the ooze wobbling on the crudest feet
It takes out the competition cause it knows that life is cheap
it scrambles into the light looking for something to eat

It doesn't matter what the numbers say,
An animal's got his instincts
they bubble up in between each high ideal
You can try to get away from it
but it knows your scent too well
The beast with five fingers comes creeping up from hell

Nowhere to run to nowhere to hide
It's got an insatiable hunger
and insect's compassion as well

It sows its seed everywhere, yet it reaps more than it sows
It's got cities to build and others to lay to waste
It rapes and it plunders with fear filling its heart
it stockpiles and hordes while looking for something to eat

It's got ways and means and truckloads of jellybeans
When it leaves it smells like sulphur and it tastes like you frenched a lock
It's got a hive full of piggies suckling away their lives
It bleeds them out on a whim using their throats to dull its knives

Angry Hand Of God Denver, Colorado

Angry Hand of God began in 2006 when the band’s two original guitarists Mark Pilloud and Pat Dixon met via an ad on StonerRock.com and began writing the band’s first few songs. Bass player Brian Kennedy joined later followed by drummer Garrett McGaugh. The last addition to band was vocalist and Colorado native, Ezana Negash.
